We are excited to have our students back in the building after the long break. It is paramount that students get off to a good start this semester so they keep up with their credits for graduation. Please reiterate to your child the importance of advocating for themselves if they fall behind in any of their classes. As a reminder, WHS has tutoring resources available to our students. You can find them attached to the email sent today.
During Homeroom this week, students will receive their schedules, create semester goals, and work on Khan Academy to improve their PSAT scores. Grades from last semester will be finalized on Wednesday and report cards will be distributed to students during Homeroom on Friday.

Upcoming assessments include the Biology ILEARN for all students enrolled in a Biology course and the SAT for all Juniors. The Biology ILEARN window is between 2/5/2024 and 2/23/2024 and the SAT date is currently set for 3/19/2024. The ILEARN exam helps our school understand how our curriculum and students line up with the rest of the state's Biology students. The SAT is a very important exam for Juniors. Reaching the benchmark score on the SAT will help students be accepted into colleges and meet the postsecondary-ready competency requirement for graduation.
