Whiting High School

Whiting High School is pleased to announce Sarah Daniels as the Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter of the 2023-2024 school year.  Ms. Daniels is currently in her third year as Guidance Counselor and Instructional Leader at Whiting High School.  Her co-workers describe her as hard working, supportive, and empathetic.  Ms. Daniels’ dedication to our students and staff can be seen in every conversation she has throughout the school year.  She has a caring demeanor and a genuine interest in everyone’s thoughts, goals, and opinions.  She ensures that everyone’s voice is heard and that their emotions are validated.  Her experience as a counselor, test coordinator, and instructional leader has proven to be a valuable asset to the daily operations of WHS.  Throughout the second quarter, Ms. Daniels has planned and executed field trips and workshops to give our students numerous opportunities for growth.  Additionally, she has coached staff members and mentored students to help them excel while at our school.  The staff at Whiting High School would like to congratulate Ms. Daniels and thank her for always going above and beyond for our students and staff each and every day.
