We are excited to have our students back in the building for the start of the 24-25 school year. School starts tomorrow 8/15 at 7:45. Students should enter through door 23 and report directly to their Homeroom. Their Homeroom teacher is based on the initial of their last name. Please review the attached document in the email sent today to see what teacher your child has for homeroom. This period will last one hour to pass out schedules, give students time to go to their lockers and get their Chromebook, and to go over school-wide expectations. Students will then have shortened periods 1 through 7. On Friday 8/16, students will report to their homeroom after dropping their items off at their lockers and picking up their Chromebook. That period will also be extended two hours to allow for school-wide presentations, ID pictures, and a handbook hunt. Again, periods 1 through 7 will follow with shortened periods. Monday 8/19 will follow the regular bell schedule.
As a reminder, students will need to be in dress code. The dress code policy is attached to the email sent today. Please review it to ensure you do not get cited for a dress code violation. Additionally, our cell phone policy will strongly be enforced at the high school this school year. Students will need to keep their cell phones off and in their lockers throughout the school day. Given this information, please contact the main office if you need to get ahold of your child during the school day. Per the student handbook, a student's first cell phone offense results in a day of In school Suspension.
Our Meet and Greet is scheduled for Monday August 19th from 5 to 6 PM. This is a great opportunity for parents and students to meet teachers and understand the requirements to be successful in their classes. The schedule will consist of approximately 10 minute periods. Please enter through door 23.
Thank you for your continued support of our school and community.
