Good afternoon, Parent- Teacher Conferences will be held virtually by appointment tomorrow, October 22, 2020. The morning conferences will be held from 9:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. and the afternoon conferences will take place from 1:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. A copy of your child's report card for the first quarter was mailed out but you may also view your child's final grades for the first quarter on RDS. October 22nd is also a scheduled eLearning day. All students should plan to check their Google Classrooms for assignments and teachers will be available for modified meeting times which can be found below. Any student that DID NOT take the SAT or PSAT test on October 14th, need to complete the "At Home Activities" available in Google Classroom pages for Class of 2021, Class of 2022, Class of 2023, and Class of 2024. These activities need to be complete by Tuesday, October 20.

WHS ACC Students... Hammond does not have Fall Break on October 16 and 19. Whiting High School students will need to attend the ACC as normal on both October 16 and October 19. Transportation will still be provided.

WHS Reminder for 10/14/2020: Select 10th-12th grade students are scheduled to take the SAT/PSAT on 10/14. Rosters and room assignments can be found in Google Classroom pages (C/O 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024). Only students testing will be on these sheets. All students not testing will NOT report to WHS on 10/14 and will complete activities in their Google Classroom pages (C/O 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024). Those testing received a call on 10/7 and 10/11. If you did not receive a call on those dates, your student is not scheduled to test on 10/14 and should remain home. A voice call and email will be sent shortly.

Please be advised that there is a change in our morning bus schedule for the 2nd run. The bus will now pick up students during the 2nd run at 7:15 a.m. instead of 7:10 a.m. Please plan accordingly.

Mr. Bratcher's 6th hour Principles of Engineering PLTW class will work from home Friday, 9/25/2020. Students will not report to the building for in-person learning. Ms. Lovasko's 6th hour Education Professions class will meet as normal.

Students enrolled in the AM or PM session of Criminal Justice will work from home on Fri, 9/25. PM students enrolled in Criminal Justice will work from home until further notice. More info to come for both the AM/PM sessions. A call/email has been sent to families..

WHS reminder: Grp A for Ed Prof (3rd), POE (6), and DE (6th) meet in person today. Students are able to enter the building 5 min prior to class beginning. 1st, 3rd, and 7th hr IED classes are NOT meeting in person at this time. More info will come at a later date.

Attn Hammond ACC students: In-person classes have been canceled from Friday, 8/21 through Tues, 8/25. Students will not report to the ACC building on those dates. Students will report to their Google Classroom on those dates. We will provide more info when we have it.

WHS students.... Good practice would be to log in to your SCW Google account to begin to create good habits for yourself and to check and make sure you remember your log in information.
